School Meals – Stevenage
At our school, we are delighted to offer free school dinners to all of our children. However, we kindly ask that you check if you’re eligible for free school meals as this provides valuable additional funding for our school.
Our Kitchen Team
Our wonderful in-house chef, Claire, and her talented team prepare fresh and nutritious meals daily. All meals are prepared on site using quality ingredients to ensure your children receive balanced and wholesome nutrition.
Menu Information
Below you will find our standard menu. Please be aware that sometimes the hot option might change due to special occasions. If this is the case, children will be informed the week in advance, and you will see the updated menu weekly on Class Dojo.
Daily Options
Every day, in addition to the main menu, we offer:
- Sandwich options with either jam, ham, cheese, or tuna (all available with or without butter).
- Jacket potato with either cheese, beans, tuna, and butter.
- Salad trolley with a variety of seasonal salad options including sliced vegetables, hummus, bean salads, and more.
- Desserts.
- Each day, children can choose from a selection of puddings including:
- Homemade cakes and bakes.
- Yoghurts.
- Fresh fruit.
- Other healthy sweet options.
Packed Lunches
If your child brings in a packed lunch, please ensure that it contains healthy options
similar to our school meals. We ask that you do not include:
- Chocolate bars or products.
- Sweets or confectionery.
- Fizzy drinks.
- Crisps (except baked varieties).
- Foods high in salt, sugar or saturated fats.
- Nuts or nut products (due to allergies).
Drinks
Water is the only drink that should be brought into school. Fresh drinking water is available
throughout the day for all children.
