Introducing the Larwood Outreach Service

Larwood School offers an outreach service designed to support mainstream primary schools in meeting the needs of pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and behaviour that challenges.

Our outreach work focuses on helping schools develop effective strategies that enable pupils to remain successful within their current school setting, while building staff confidence and capacity to support complex needs.

The service is delivered by experienced SEMH practitioners who specialise in supporting pupils with additional behavioural, emotional and social needs.

Levels of Outreach Support

Outreach support is typically provided through a tiered approach, allowing schools to access the right level of support depending on the needs of the pupil, staff team or school.

Our Approach

The outreach service is designed to be flexible and responsive, working in partnership with schools to identify the most appropriate level of support.

Our aim is always to:

  • build school capacity
  • support inclusive practice
  • improve outcomes for pupils with SEMH needs

Working in Partnership

We believe that the most effective support comes through strong collaboration between schools, families and professionals.

Our outreach service aims to build sustainable approaches within schools so that pupils receive consistent, supportive and inclusive provision that enables them to thrive.
